Inputs and outputs

RelayLogic DT Relay Plug

Plug-in 10 A relay for a Squidbox port, with no wiring through the Squidbox itself.

RelayLogic DT Relay Plug CAD render

RelayLogic plug with its front nose and rear output connector.

What it does

  • The housing is the plug: its nose goes straight into a Squidbox port.
  • The rear connector is an isolated relay contact, so it can switch +12 V or ground.
  • Load current never passes through the Squidbox.
  • A green LED shows when the relay is energized.

ABC
  • A+5 V, powers the coil
  • BGround
  • CSignal, high turns the relay on

Rear, to your harness

Deutsch DTF13-2P, mates with DT06-2S. Looking into the rear connector with its latch on top.

12
  • 1NO, the switched side
  • 2COM, +12 V (fused) or ground

Not to scale. Check the numbers molded on the connector before wiring. Pin colors only show each pin's function. They don't reflect the actual wire colors of any included pigtail.

Before you buy

  • Only Squidbox ports 1–6 can drive a relay; ports 7 and 8 are input-only.
  • Six plugs and the Squidbox together draw about 385 mA of its 600 mA 5 V supply.
